OK, I see that KR is now up & running, now what? | Thu Jan 29, 2009 12:25 pm by Champers | Where do we go from here? I hope that people here don't bail en masse, in less than a week "Am I Pregnant?" rose like the proverbial phoenix from the (albeit temporary) ashes of KR. We can't let it disappear just as quickly.
BTW, now that KR is functioning, shouldn't we lose the "Why isn't Kittyradio working?" bit at the top of the page?

Photo Contests? | Sun Feb 15, 2009 10:33 pm by orangesapphire | To get more interest in the board and get people posting... how about a "Fancy Like A Princess" type deal? I was thinking of like photo contest where there's a theme... so it's like America's Next Top Model.
Like the theme would change every week or whatever and you'd have a certain amount of time to post a photo of yourself all dressed up and made up as the theme.
I have no …

Temporarily Took Down Logo, Overhaul of mod system | Thu Jan 29, 2009 6:45 am by orangesapphire | In order to make Am I Pregnant? more safe for work I took down the awesome logo jonny-boy made for us.
Apparently someone on the mod list IS being a tyrant, I just activated a log in the admin panel that lets me see all recent mod actions so whoever it is might get a can of whoop-ass unleashed on them.
I'm working on a lot of changes to the mod powers and trying to get it so anytime …

these kind of "quotes" make this article seem a bit on the fabricated side I was a little scared with "my children are my animals now" until I understood she was probably talking about her animals that's if she actually said anything at all

| "But it seems to me that the iconic later Jackson is "Black or White," which powerfully makes the points above about the fluidity of identity in a globalized world, and underlines the common humanity of us all, something that the eternal boy could see through the ravages of hurt that clouded his never-ending childhood. Young children don't know about racial or religious prejudice. The great tragedy of Michael Jackson is that his childlike withdrawal from reality may have left him more vulnerable to himself and others, and never protected him from bigotry or, other human realities. After all, children shouldn't die." | |

| yeah it was part of a bigger article
this paragraph
"We can only speculate about the attractions for Michael Jackson of Islam, but likely his 2005 trial in which he was acquitted of all charges was implicated in his desire for a change. The court psychiatrist confirmed his psychological innocence, saying he had been arrested at the stage of a 10 year old. Michael Jackson was deeply hurt and humiliated by the experience, and his withdrawal to Bahrain and search for a different tradition of spirituality may well have come out of that abasement."
and the that one had me crying though.

| I was born in 89 but I remember up until like 97 Michael Jackson was still everyone's favorite, this was even after the first molestation thing. There was a kid in my 1st grade class who wanted to be the next Michael Jackson and had a mini-afro and shit and his parents would sign him up for singing and dancing stuff. Everyone's parents had the Thriller record and even when Invincible came out people talked hella shit but then were still interested in the single for it when it came out.
I actually did end up shedding a tear after seeing a poem that he wrote on Huffington Post.

| i really wish they could just have his funeral and then start arguing about the money this whole situation has turned into a scary mess - for the kids they need to be what's most important
and why is it now everyone is talking about the drug use? too little too late
