but this going down around the anniversary of kurt's death is starting to become a tradition. actually more like a monthly tradition since it seems to happen every month.

Sorry so many questions

I decided to do a Bsc in Social Science (I have the official interview next month). I'll be doing a few modules in Islamic/Middle Eastern Studies which will be on offer. There's two options I could look at pursuing academically upon completion of the degree - doing a Masters in Islamic Studies or Gender Studies. Not 100% sure what I want to do yet but as I worked in health care for so many years, I was thinking of the "diversity" option career-wise. I'm going to attend Birbeck, which is specifically designed for mature/working students.

If I am able to make it to Scotland, I will be in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Rosyth/Dunfermline (LOL) so I should definitely be in your neck of the woods! Will probably "Travelodge" it if this happens, there will be three of us so there won't be room at my friend's mother's place!

LOL indeed at the ol' "garden city" (still don't know why it has that name) and Dunfermline. Man, I was just on a night out in Dunf a couple of weeks ago and it reminded me of just how much of a hole it is... but not as bad as my own town I guess! They don't have Fraser Avenue for example. I suppose they had Trondheim Parkway but at least they had the good grace to demolish that shit.

Makes you feel bad, Dunf is twinned with Trondheim (in Norway iirc?) and the biggest shitehole of a street in history just happened to be named after it. Oops.

That's awesome about the degree banter, are you going to study part time? Decent that it's a mature student sort of joint, I feel like a right old cunt at my uni and I've only got five years on all of those folks. Are you on an access course just now?

A whole load of further dreadful places have sprung up in recent years, I just cannot keep up with the slew of shitty bars and clubs! I'm not actually sure if I've ever been to the Creepy Wee but maybe I have at some v. young drunken stage.

A sort of OKish place these days is Seven Kings down by the glen gates, by OKish I mean it doesn't seem quite as likely that some random punter might throw up on your shoes so obviously "OKish" is relative. I don't know how long that one has been around and I think I only went there for the first time maybe a year ago?

Rosyth is the town next to mine and this is probably better illustrated by way of map so I'll just do that. b/c we can be fairly certain that nobody's about to stalk me. Except Mikerochip. He will definitely stalk me.

I've requested the time off from work, it shouldn't be a problem, I just need them to confirm. The thing is, I now have to chase my friends up, they dropped it on me kind of last minute so I need to find out how they are going about booking, etc.
